As part of the ARISE-NUTRINT and DASH project activities, members of our team participated in the Conference on Adolescent Health in Sub-Saharan Africa (CAH-SSA), held in Tanzania from June 22 to 25 and organized by the African Academy of Public Health. The conference brought together researchers, policymakers, and other key stakeholders from across the region to strengthen collaboration in the field of adolescent health. Through continuous dialogue, the exchange of scientific knowledge, and the joint evaluation of public health policies, the DASH network helps bridge the gap between research and policymaking, ensuring that scientific evidence is effectively translated into policies and practices that improve adolescent health. In addition, the project develops standardized approaches for evaluating public health policies, provides specialized training opportunities for early-career researchers, and promotes the broad dissemination of research findings through policy briefs and collaboration with key stakeholders.
