A few days ago, the regional office of the World Health Organization for Europe (https://www.euro.who.int/en/home) published two newsletters on the healthy habits of European children. Both popularly written and appropriately illustrated materials provide detailed information on the nutrition and physical activity of young children of European school age (6-9 years), collected during the COSI project in which our Center’s associates also participated. Newsletters can be downloaded at the following links: eating habits and physical activity, time spent in front of the screen and sleep. Reliable data on children’s habits and body dimensions can help governments and other professional and regional organizations to implement effective strategies to combat malnutrition and obesity.
